OUR MISSION

As the Kuntanawa Nation, we are dedicated to preserving the Amazon rainforest and promoting awareness about its vital importance for all life on Earth. Our mission is to reconnect people with the Earth, foster global harmony, and protect the sacred lands our ancestors walked.

The Amazon is essential for the planet, producing 20% of the world’s oxygen and supporting unparalleled biodiversity. Its preservation ensures the survival of future generations.

We empower impoverished communities impacted by historical injustices, such as slavery and genocide, by creating sustainable economic opportunities. Through initiatives like tree planting, job creation, and cultural preservation, we help communities resist corporate pressures and become stewards of the forest.

We also host retreats and events that provide spiritual connection and growth, blending ancestral wisdom with modern practices. As a private membership organization, our rights are protected, ensuring the legality of our work and gatherings.

We are supported by ASCAK, our mother organization in Brazil, which helps us bring projects to life and create sustainable prosperity for our communities. Together, we work to safeguard the Amazon, a vital resource for the planet and the heart of our culture.
